PURPOSE:To attain the automatic changeover of a console by using a switching circuit which performs the connecting changeover of the console to the 1st or 2nd processor and starting the switching circuit after discriminating the signal related to the changeover of the console. CONSTITUTION:In an initial state of a communication control subsystem (CCS) 3, an SW 11 is connected to a console 7 by an SWC 13. Then the console 7 is connected to a CCSP and an operator can talk with the CCSP. The SWC 13 performs the control to the SW 11 for connection of the console 7 to the CP side. Thus the operator can talk with the CP hereafter in place of the CCSP. While in a state where the console 7 is connected to the CP, a CDC 10 informs this state to the SWC 13. Thus the SWC 13 produces a switching signal to the SW 11 and the operator who is so far talking with the CP can talk with the CCSP. While the CP also performs the control in the same way of processing.
