A shower door consisting of a plurality of movable elements has at least one spring which prestresses at least one element guided in the fixed frame of the door, in such a way that the door closes automatically when it is opened essentially completely. However, the spring constant of the spring is selected so that, when the door is opened only partially, the prestress is not sufficient to close the door, so that a ventilation of the shower space is possible.
