The invention relates to a self-supply device for plants of all types of cultivation, generally water-sensitive earth cultivations in particular being given special consideration. The device essentially consists: a) of a capillary plant pot (2) of known type with a high-mounted bottom part (2') - the innovation consisting in a staggered, annular lamellar inner-shaft tray (Fig. 5), the compartments of which can be filled especially with different substrates (substances which have been made humic); b) of a single-shaft or double-shaft undervessel (3), possibly with plant-pot support webs (3<a>); and c) especially of 2 half-ring-shaped water cassettes (1) which are arranged around the plant pot (2) and which function according to the low-pressure principle. They are provided by way of replacement for the conventional overpot. In the manner of a known bottle reservoir, the arc-shaped cassette (1) is raised (4), turned and filled (through the outlet opening/item 1<e>). It (1) is put down again likewise, so that the cassette cavity (1<c>) surrounding the opening returns into the bottom region (3<d>) of the plant pot. A panpipe-like tap part (Fig. 3), arranged in each case in the bottom region of a cassette (1/1<c>), allows the height of the water level in the bottom bowl (3) to be adjusted. A phenolic-foam plant-pot support (9) allows the use of conventional clay pots. <IMAGE>
