PURPOSE:To improve the information processing efficiency by counting the information processing time passed to the input information and changing the processing of the input information in case no processing result is obtained to the input information at a time point when said processing time passed is equal to the prescribed set time. CONSTITUTION:The information is supplied via an input part 1 and the processing is started to this input information. It is decided as necessary whether the counted processing time (t) reaches the prescribed set time T or not. The processing of the input information is continued until the time (t) is equal to the time T, and the result of this processing is obtained. In case the processing is not through even after the time (t) is equal to the time T, an output control part 6 detects this fact. Then a processor main body 2 decides whether or not the final processing result indicated and supplied to the output of the result on the way is necessary or not. Then the processor 2 discontinues or continues the processing according to the result of said decision.
