PURPOSE:To improve the economical properties of an information processor by using a means which switches a control memory area to a main memory area with the signal that designates a prescribed maintenance state. CONSTITUTION:A microprogram control part 15 detects a signal 14 designating the maintenance state out of a maintenance console, etc. and controls an address changeover part 16. When the designation of the maintenance state is detected by the part 15, 'O', for example, is set to a base register for main memory area. Under such conditions, a data transfer mechanism 13 can give an access also to the control memory area 11 of a memory device 10 as the main memory area. Thus it is possible to provide such areas to the area 11 for setting the data to be transferred to the outside as a saving area for screen data, a buffer for maintenance display screen, etc. |
