PURPOSE:To make it possible to transfer with enlargement/reduction by converting an information signal that is stored by a storing means to the infor mation signal that is much more enlarged/reduced by an enlarging/reducing means and recording it on a prescribed recording paper by a recording means. CONSTITUTION:A character or a graphic etc. that is written on an original P is ready by an optical reading means 1 and is amplified by an amplifier 3 and it is converted to a digital signal after inputted to an analog/digital converting means 4. This signal is stored temporarily at a storing means 5 as a signal W that is synchronized with the signal of a detecting means 2 which detects the position of the optical reading means 1. And when the enlargement/ reduction is requested, it is indicated by an indicating means 8 and the information signal is converted by an enlargement/reduction converting means 7 and, it is read out as a synchronizing signal R by reading the signal synchronized with the recording speed of a recording means 6 and the character or the graphic etc. written on the original P of a prescribed paper S by the recording means 6 is transferred.
