The toy comprises a disc on a central shaft which is rotatable in a bore in a handle. By pulling a string wound around a shaft portion, the disc can be caused to rotate at high speed and then released on to a surface as a spinning top. - The spinning disc can be picked up again by placing the handle over the upper shaft end, and released again. Alternatively, the spinning disc can be picked up by sliding a handle plate under the pointed lower end of the shaft. (FL) (4pp Dwg.No.0/1)
