The rotating head is coupled solidly to one end of rotating shaft; above the feed arm is placed a rotating 'lung' consisting of a fixed part and an external rotating part, the latter communicating through corresp. pipes with an upper cooling element, also rotating. The element incorporates radial pipes projecting towards the centre, which open into the annular space defined by a cap integrated with element and disposed axially and concentrically to the outlet for the film tube shaped in the extruder head.
