PURPOSE:To enable a conveyor to be swivelled stably by configurating a device in such a way that the speed of a driving gear located beyond the stated radius of gyration is set to be proportional to the radius of gyration, and traveling motion within the stated radius of gyration is allowed to repeat swivelling and stopping at the time interval which is proportional to the corresponding radius in the conveyor which can be swivelled in a form of a fan as referred to the title. CONSTITUTION:When, for example, a conveyor which is 500m long in total including frame groups 2-i, each of which is 10m long, is equipped with an inverter which can control the speed of a crawler 3-i within the range from V0 to V0/20 so as to swivel the conveyor. Accordingly, crawlers located beyond the crawler 3-3 are allowed to travel at the speed from V0/20 to V0 in proportion to the distance from the center of swivelling, but crawlers 3-1 and 3-2 are allowed to repeat swivelling and stopping at the time interval which corresponds to the distance from the center of swivelling. This configuration enables the conveyor to be smoothly swivelled.
