The agricultural baling machine for forming hay, straw etc. into circular bales has a triangular chamber formed by endless belts, inside which the material is rolled. This chamber is formed by a horizontal belt (12) and the bases (13,14) of two upper belts passing around rollers to form two isosceles triangles, these two belts rotating in opposite directions. These rollers (15,16,17;18,19,20) are carried by frames so that they can be swung apart to eject the bale when rolled to a maximum size. The two frames carrying the rollers are attached to springs (22,23) which enable the chamber to increase in size to match the size of the bale as it is rolled. The outermost roller (16,20) is attached to a bell crank lever (31,32) connected to a spring at the other end. A deflector plate behind the horizontal conveyor, which assists formation of the bale can be swung down during bale ejection. |
