<p>An electrical terminal box (1) has a casing (2) of insulating material with cavities (5) for receiving electrical terminals (6). The electrical terminals are composed of conductive material having a central portion (8) with a through hole (9) through which can be passed a screw (21) to be engaged in a threaded nut retained in the connecter body (7) by lateral wings (10) from which project connecter blades (12). When the connecter assembly is introduced into the cavity (5) the head (21a) of the screw (21) is in alignment with a respective access opening (22) in the casing body (2), which is smaller in diameter than the head (21a) to prevent removal of the screw, and the terminal assembly (6) is retained in position in the casing (2) by snap engagement of a resilient tongue (13) on one of the wings (10) into a co-operating detent (14) in the side wall of the cavity (5) in the casing (2).</p> |
