A polymer alloy comprises: (a) random copolymer consisting of recurring units of methyl methacrylate and N-phenylmaleimide; and (b) random copolymer or terpolymer of recurring units of styrene, 5-35 wt.% acrylonitrile and 0-7 wt.% N-phenylmaleimide. The prod. of mouldings from the polymer alloy is also claimed. - Pref. copolymer (a) comprises 99-50 wt.% methylmethacrylate and 1-50 wt.% N-phenylmaleimide. Co- or terpolymer (b) comprises 5-35 wt.% acrylonitrile and 95-65 wt.% styrene or 65-73 wt.% styrene, 20-34 wt.% acrylonitrile and 1-7 wt.% N-phenyl maleimide.
