<p>The blades of a helicopter rotor are attached to the rotor head by a relatively wide strip of metal (16). This strip passes between parallel guides (56) which are supported shock absorbers (40). These shock absorbers are composed of alternate laminations of an inextensible material and of an elastomer sandwich manner. - The shock absorber is assembled inside a rectangular housing (26) attached to the torque tube (24) in turn, fixed to the blade.
