PURPOSE:To provide an automatic paper-supplying function and enable both traction feeding and forced feeding of a paper, by a construction wherein a tractor can be oscillated to the first position and the second position, and a paper-supplying cassette can be mounted to the second position when the tractor is located at the first position. CONSTITUTION:In the forced feeding system, a tractor guide 21 is set on the rear side of a platen 1. With a paper-feeding motor 3 and the platen 1 rotated in the directions of arrows, a tractor gear 17 is rotated in the direction of an arrow (d) through idle gears 6, 7. A fanfold paper 61 is fed on the upper surface of a pin wheel 20, is wound around the platen 1, and is discharged upward. In the traction feeding system, a tractor shaft 16 is lifted up to the upper side of the platen 1, and is fixed. The tractor gear 17 is engaged with an idle gear 18, the fanfold paper 61 is wound around the platen 1, is then passed on the upper surface of the pin wheel 20, and is discharged to the rear side. In the case of automatic paper supply, the tractor part is switched to the upper side of the platen 1, and the paper-supplying cassette is mounted by mating it to a groove provided in a mount plate 58. |
