Arrangement is intended for securing a candle to a carrier such as a candlestick. It uses an adhesive agent which is compatible with the candle material and capable of producing a reliable bond between candle and carrier. Agent is pref. fusible and/or kneadable and may contain a hydrocarbon wax such as a paraffin wax and/or a micro-crystalline wax. It may contain at least two such materials with different melting points and/or penetration (i.e. depth of penetration of a needle during 1 hour at 25 deg.C).
