PURPOSE:To accomplish stable yarn hooking with high percentage of success reliably and quickly by detecting tension of a yarn between a winder and a suction device,and generating a yarn hooking completion signal when the tension changes more than a designated value to automatically cut the yarn extending between the winder and the suction device. CONSTITUTION:When a yarn Y' winding round a bobbin B entwines each other to be fixed, the tension of a yarn Y extending between the bobbin B and a suction device 25 is suddenly increased. As the tension value is sent from a yarn guide 3 through a tension detector 9 and a converter 11 to a control device 12, if the input signal exceeds a value preset on the control device 12, it is judged that a yarn is hooked, and the signal is sent to a control device 14 of a yarn hooking manipulator. When the control device 14 receives the signal, a yarn hooking actuator driving device is stopped, and an output signal is sent to a yarn cut driving device 15, so that an air cylinder 7 is operated to cut the yarn Y between the yarn guides 3, 4. Thus, the yarn can bebstably hooked with high percentage of success in automatic yarn hooking. |
