PURPOSE:To facilitate discovering mistake insetting value and permit to set measuring and kneading conditions surely by a method wherein the number of step in switching, the back pressures of respective steps, the rotating number of a screw and the set value of switching screw position in measuring and kneading as well as the back pressure and the rotating number of screw in accordance with the screw position are indicated by graphs. CONSTITUTION:A soft key 22 is operated to select measuring and kneading conditions setting pictures. When the number of steps of switching, the back pressure of respective steps, the rotating number of screw and a switching point or the screw position are memorized in a set memory 15 by utilizing a cursor or the like, a CPU 14 operates the scale factors of respective set values in order to change the scale so that the set back pressure, the maximum value of rotating number of screw and the switching screw position of the last step or the amount of screw back are corresponding to the maximum lengths of abscissa and ordinate of the indicating graph. The CPU 14 operates also the positions on the graph from respective scale factors as well as the set values and describes the graphs G1, G2 indicating the back pressures of respective steps and the rotating number of the screw with respect to the screw position.
