<p>PURPOSE:To collect notes aligning their lateral end surfaces, by blowing from an air injection nozzle pressure air to the note so as to prevent it from falling down to the direction of a collecting wheel and collecting the note to be piled along a guide by a sweeper. CONSTITUTION:A note 10, being fed out by rollers 13, 14 to a collecting wheel 1, is received and stopped between blades. A mechanism, placing the note in a free condition till it hits a stopper 4, starts to correct the displacement of the note in its lateral direction by a guide 5 from the time a little before the note touches the stopper 4, and if the collecting wheel 1 further rotates causing the note 10 to hit against the stopper 4 as shown by a note 11 in the drawing, the note 11, while it is detached from the blade, is gradually extruded along the guide 5 as the collecting wheel 1 rotates, and the mechanism, holding the note 11 so as to be prevented from falling over to a direction of the collecting wheel 1, forcedly feeds the note 11 in the direction of a backup plate 3 along the guide 5 by rotating a sweeper 6.</p> |
