PURPOSE:To enable an adhesive tape to be automatically cut and glued, by rotting a squared cylindrical drum, which divides its inside into independent pressure reduced chambers by partitioning plates and surrounds the periphery by each surface having attracting holes, and cutting the wound tape in a surface boundary to be pressed. CONSTITUTION:A drum 1, placing its pressure reducing chambers 5a, 5b, 5c in a pressure reduced condition while 5d in a normal pressure condition, attracts an adhesive tape 6 to be attached to a surface 1a of the drum 1 by attracting holes 7 of the surface 1a. Next, if the drum 1 is turned 90 deg., the drum 1, placing the chambers 5a, 5b, 5d in the pressure reduced condition while releasing the chamber 5c from the pressure reduced condition, attracts the tape 6, brought into contact with a surface 1d, to be attached to the surface 1d, and an apparatus, advancing a cutter 8 under a condition that the tape 6 is attractively attached to the surfaces 1a, 1d, cuts the tape 6 in its width direction along a boundary line between the surfaces 1a, 1d. The apparatus, attracting the tape to be attached to a surface 1c because the chambers 5a, 5c, 5d are placed in the pressure reduced condition if the drum 1 is further rotated 90 deg., cuts the tape along a boundary line between the surfaces 1d, 1c. Next the apparatus, lowering a gluing tool 3 and pressing an adhesive surface of the tape to an object 2 for adhesively attaching the tape, completes the tape to be automatically cut and glued.
