PURPOSE:To produce the titled sealing agent having excellent workability, rust-proofing property, durability, moisture-resistance, etc., by compounding calcium carbonate, barium sulfate and a high-boiling aromatic and/or ester solvent to a resin at specific ratios. CONSTITUTION:The titled agent free of plasticizer can be produced by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a resin component (e.g. urethane resin, epoxy resin, etc.) with (B) 25-70pts.wt. of calcium carbonate, (C) 65-200pts.wt. of barium sulfate and (D) <150pts.wt. of aromatic and/or ester solvent having high boiling point (e.g. diethylbenzene, acetic acid ester, etc.). A sealing agent for automobile giving a coating film having excellent appearance by single coating can be produced by this process.
