PURPOSE:To discharge smoothly the gas in the cavity of a device for embedding a different member by casting by providing a spacing communicating with the cavity between the different member and support body and evacuating the inside of the cavity through the spacing. CONSTITUTION:The melt in a sleeve 14 is injected under the pressure into the cavity 13 of a die casting device 10; at the same time, a pressure reducing device 28 is operated. The gas in the cavity 13 is discharged through air vents 24 under the pressure developed by the melt packed into the cavity and is forcibly sucked and discharged by the device 28. The gas on the outside (movable core 20 side) of a core 21 is discharged from the cavity 13 through the vents 24 to the outside at around the time when the melt arrives at the core 21. On the other hand, the gas on the inside (liner 22 side) of the core 21 flows into the spacing 25 through the vents 24 from the cavity 13 and is thoroughly discharged through a branch path 26a, a discharge path 26 and a pipe 27. The gas in the cavity 13 is thereby smoothly discharged and the defectless product is cast.
