In a procedure for automatic stacking of products (1) to product units (P) and packaging of these into group packings (S), the products (1) are stacked in a stacking unit (3) in a pattern tailored to the group packings (S). The completed product unit (P) is thereafter passed into a nearby stacking device (3) and raised upright from a level position as a group packing (S), which is then sealed.The device for the procedure's execution entails a vertical shaft (4), in which the products (1) are stacked, as well as a pull-down station (22) with a magazine (19) for storage of flat carton material (18), whereby the station is equipped with a pull-down unit (23), which is configured to grasp and position the carton material (18) up into the shaft (4).<IMAGE> |
