PURPOSE:To produce the titled substance having characteristic strong fragrance of fruity or floral note, by inoculating and culturing a strain belonging to e.g. Saccharomyces genus to jasmine wax. CONSTITUTION:30-60pts.wt. of jasmine wax and 0.5-3pts.wt. of a surfactant such as sucrose are heated at 75-85 deg.C, and the dissolved mixture is poured into 70.5-87pts.wt. of refined water heated at 75-85 deg.C to obtain an emulsion (A). Separately, a medium (B) is prepared by compounding a carbon source (e.g. glucose), a nitrogen source (e.g. ammonium sulfate), inorganic salt and nutrient. 100pts.wt. of the component B is mixed with 10-20pts.wt. of the component A, if necessary sterilized at 115 deg.C for 15min, inoculated with Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Hansenula anomala, etc., and cultured aerobically at 20-30 deg.C for 10-15 days. The obtained culture product is extracted with an organic solvent such as hexane and distilled to obtain the objective fragment substance. |
