发明名称 MOLDING METHOD FOR CERAMIC SHELL MOLD
摘要 PURPOSE:To form a ceramic shell mold having a large thickness in a short period by spraying a stuccoing material consisting of a filler, binder and refractory granular aggregate to the surface of a consumable pattern and drying the same and repeating such operation plural times. CONSTITUTION:The stuccoing material 2 consisting a mixture composed of of 40% filler such as Zr flower, 10% binder such as colloidal silica and 50% refractory granular aggregate is injected from a nozzle 4 of an air gun 3 by compressed air 5 onto the surface of the consumable pattern consisting essentially of wax to form the 1st layer 6 to 2-3mm thickness in the stage of forming the ceramic shell mold to be used in an investment casting method. After the 1st layer is dried, the stuccoing material consisting of 50% filler, 10% binder and 40% refractory granular aggregate is sprayed thereto to form the 2nd layer 7to 3-5mm thickness. Such operation is repeated plural times until the required thickness is obtd. to from the ceramic shell layer having the substantial thickness and thereafter the consumable pattern 1 is consumed by heating, by which the ceramic shell mold is formed.
