发明名称 HEAT TREATMENT OF CORONA DISCHARGE ELECTRODE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of surface cracks and to get a stable corona discharge output for a long period of time by making a twolayer structure wirelike material by coating platinum on a wirelike W, drawing the wirelike material to be made into a corona discharge electrode, and heating the electrode at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:After coating a wirelike W with platinum by plating, vapor depositing, sputter coating, powder baking, thermal spraying or inserting the material W into a pipe to make a two-layer structure wire, the two-layer structure wire is drawn by a die. The drawn wire is heated at 450-750 deg.C in air, etc., to remove strains in the coated platinum layer; the best heating temperature is about 600 deg.C for 5-10sec. The above method removes strains in the coated platinum layer, prevents occurrence of surface cracks, deactivates the platinum surface, and maintains a stable characteristic of corona discharge electrode for a long period of time.
