<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an electromagnetic apparatus which has extremely small loss and stable electromagnetic characteristics sufficiently restraining the leakage flux passing the inside of the side wall of a case by providing a gap only inside without providing a gap in an external leg of the side wall of the case. CONSTITUTION:An air gap (g) is provided concentratedly in an inner leg 40. This generates a leakage flux only near the center of a case 5 as shown by an arrow, the leakage flux passing the side walls 5A, 5B of the case is extremely small, the power loss is extremely small and the characteristics are not changed. Especially, if the section of the case 5 is not square but a polygonal shape similar to the shape of a reflecting plate 7, even the oblique walls 5A, 5B of the case 5 are nearer to the butting parts 6......of a core 4 compared with the case of the square section but the air gap (g) is provided only in the inner leg 40 which results in giving no special effect and the smaller size of the section of the case can be contrived.</p> |
