PURPOSE:To reduce the number of filter replacing times, by a method wherein a removable magnetic deposit penetrating net is placed to the sludge incoming opening part of a machining solution feed device, and metallic machining powder is removed at the initial stage. CONSTITUTION:A storage tank 1 is divided by a stationary weir plate 6 into a sludge tank 3, in which sludge containing metallic powder electric discharge- machined in the title machine flows through a piping 2, and a fresh water tank 5 in which a machining solution filtered through a filter 4 is stored. Sludge, pumped up through a piping 7 from the sludge tank 3 with the aid of a filter pump 8, is fed into the filter 4 through a piping 9 for filtering to store it in the fresh water tank 5. Through PVD treatment or CVD treatment disposed to the incoming port of the sludge a penetrating net or penetrating cloth 22, on which magnetic metal is deposited, removes the machining powder at the initial stage when a machining solution containing machining powder comes in through a piping 2. |
