PURPOSE:To achieve a high assaying accuracy and a shorter measuring time, by arranging a heating means and a cooling means on the downstream of a joint connection part between a third passage for supplying a reference catalyst solution to a chemically luminescent reaction section and a fourth passage connected somewhere in the course of the third passage. CONSTITUTION:A thermostating means 10 is provided to maintain solutions A and B at a constant temperature somewhere in the course of first and second passages I and II for supplying the solution A containing chemically luminescent substance and the solution B containing oxidizing substance to a flowcell Fc at a chemical reaction section R. A heating means 11 and a cooling means 12 are provided on the downstream of the joint connection part between a third passage III for supplying a reference catalyst solution C to the cell Fc and a fourth passage IV which extracts an antigen to be measured from a sample solution D to mixed into a solution C in the passage III. With the heating action of the means 11, a buret forming reaction is done quickly between the solution C and the antibody to be measured in the solution D mixed thereinto while cooling by the means 12 prevents the generation of bubbles in the passage positively thereby enabling accurate assay in a short time.
