PURPOSE:To improve the operational reliability by holding one end of cut tape projecting from fixed gripper means through movable gripper means then pulling immediately below a thermal pressing means and pressing against a package sheet. CONSTITUTION:A package sheet is fed in the direction H then passes through the underside of a guide roll 91 having the opposite ends journaled to the machine frame 110 to be draped from the upper side to the back of a receiver roll 828 thereafter carried from the back of a rolling bar 121 through the underside of said bar 121 in the direction I. While a cut tape will go from a bobbin 41 through a fixed pulley 842 and a through-hole 111 made in the machine frame 110 to a fixed gripper means 66 where it is held while projecting one end by predetermined dimension. The projected end section is held by movable gripper means 80 and performs C-shaped motion while detouring said roller 828 to tighten the cut tape immediately below a thermal pressing face 21a and cut with a cutter 101. Consequently, the structure is simplified while the number of parts is reduced resulting in improvement of the operational reliability.
