PURPOSE:To fix a mesh electrode to a photoconductive target parallel to it by placing the outward folded section of a cylindrical flange on the target and fixing the flange and the target to the outer glass tube of an electron gun through an indium ring. CONSTITUTION:The periphery of a copper mesh electrode 4 is fixed between a cylindrical flange 2, one end of which is perpendicularly folded inward and the other end is perpendicularly folded outward, and an annular flange 3 by spot welding. The outward folded section of the flange 2 free of a mesh electrode is fixed to a photoconductive target by an indium ring 5 which airtightly seals the translucent glass base plate 1 of the photoconductive target and the outer glass tube 6 of an electron gun. By the means mentioned above, the mesh electrode 4 is fixed parallel to the photoconductive target with a given desired distance provided between them. |
