PURPOSE:To enable air flow speed to be increased at the back of a core, by placing a keep plate on the center of an air duct. CONSTITUTION:Duct pieces 1 are fixed on a keep plate 2 by welding, on the center in the direction of the height of an air duct, and the keep plate 2 is fixed on a rotor core 3 with bolts 9. The inner diameter of the keep plate 2 is made larger than the inner diameter of the rotor core 3, and the end faces of the plate 2 are sharpened in an arrow shape, to reduce ventilation resistance. By arranging the thickness of the keep plate 2 adequately, the ventilating cross- sectional area of a core back section can be adjusted regardless of the section of teeth, and so air speed on the core back section can be made equal to that on the section of the teeth. |
