PURPOSE:To ensure the minimum necessary installation space while to improve the stacking and stocking performances by providing an auxiliary section retractable or foldable against the body thereby making the tray size variable with correspondence to the sizes of document and recording paper. CONSTITUTION:The trays arranged in double stage are comprised of tray body sections 10a fixed to the body 1 and the auxiliary sections 10b having variable longitudinal direction. When forming the body section 10a into such size as stockable upto A-4 size, only the body section 10a is used for the paper upto A-4 size and the auxiliary section 10b is contained in the body 10a. The auxiliary section 10b is drawn out only when the paper of larger size is used and stockable upto A-3 size. In such a manner, the installation space of tray can be halved while maintaining the stacking and stocking performances of document and recording paper.
