PURPOSE:To correspond to the ground position and the acquisition picture data by setting the band, which does not contribute to the observing band, to a microwave radiometer and arranging so that plural beacon stations having the different frequency can exist in the antenna beam of the band. CONSTITUTION:As the band to determine the position of the microwave radiometer, a 15GHz band is adopted which is hard to receive the influence of the air comparatively, the beacon station of the same carrier, which can mutually identify plural different pieces for several kHz each with 15GHz as a center, for example, is modulated by a dummy random code (PN code) such as a gold code, is arranged in a row on the already known ground, and plural beacon stations enter the beam. Codes PN1-PNi of the 15GHz band outputted from an amplifier 6 by a PN code decoding device 7 are discriminated, through a detecting device 8, etc., time data and each amplitude strength outputted from a parallel/serial converting device 10 are analyzed, thereby the time when the antenna scans a beacon station can be correctly known. The data of the band corresponding to the time go to be the position data of the beacon station.
