PURPOSE:To erase an optional part in an original image and to underscore it by drawing a line to specific width at a specified part by using a multiple copying function for an original, a function for specifying the optional range of the original, and a function for erasing images inside and outside the specified range. CONSTITUTION:The original is set on an original platen 2 and an underscore specifying key 30h is pressed to place a main processor group in underscore specified mode. Then, a part to be underscored is specified on the original by operating operation keys 30a-30d and a position specifying key 30e and then an exposure lamp 4 is turned on to perform copying operation. When the copying operation is completed, a multiple copying unit 602 is operated and a form on which the original image is formed is sent to the side of a photosensitive drum 10 again. Then, light emitting elements outside the specified range turns on and light emitting elements 152 corresponding to the specified range and the exposure lamp 4 turn off; and an electrostatic latent image formed on a photosensitive drum 10 is developed by a developing device 12 and transferred to and fixed on the fed paper as an underscore L. |
