PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retardant resin compsn. having greatly improved impact resistance, by blending a polyester resin, glass fiber, a polyester elastomer, an alkali metal salt of a copolymer, a high-molecular bromine flame retarder and antimony oxide. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. consists of 20-85wt% polybutylene terephthalate resin or polyethylene terephthalate resin (A), 5-60wt% glass fiber (B), 1-20wt% polyester elastomer (C), 1-20wt% sodium or potassium salt (D) of an olefin/(meth)acrylic acid copolymer, 2-20wt% high-molecular bromine flame retarder (E) contg. a brominated arom. ring on the high-molecular side chain and 0.5-10wt% antimony oxide (F) in such a proportion that the combined quantity of components A-F is 100wt%. Examples of the antimony oxides are antimony trioxide and antimony pentoxide. |
