<p>Design and application of a new process whose aim is to improve, simplify and reduce the weight of cramp irons for attachment to shoes for mountain climbing. The cramp irons comprise two parts in front (6) and behind from which extend sharp tips (8), characterized by the fact that the front part of the dorsal spine ends in a single frontal sharp tip (4) of the vertical type fitted with notches on the lower edge of the ice axe type. The technical design of this new cramp iron is characterized by the fact that both parts of it have dorsal spines which, together, make up the main dorsal spine which extends to the middle of the cramp iron in the longitudinal direction, and the two parts are fitted together, adjustable by means of their dorsal spines.</p> |
