PURPOSE:To prevent removal of an impregnant from a case and improve current characteristic after formation of a battery by dropping alkaline electrolyte onto a separator within a positive electrode case and placing thereon an impregnant. CONSTITUTION:The surface of black mix 1 of positive electrode which is pressurizingly molded with a positive electrode ring 3 within the positive electrode case 2 is caused to absorb alkaline electrolyte 9 and thereafter a separator 4 is placed on the surface of black mix 1 of positive electrode. Immediately after the alkali electrolyte 9a is partly dropped onto the separator 4, an impregnant 5 is placed on the separator in order to form the positive side. Thereby, even when difference between the external diameter of separator and impregnant and inner diameter of the positive electrode case supporting said materials changes delicately, mass-production can be realized easily and battery characteristic can also be improved. |
