PURPOSE:To make liner replacement so easy as well as to make maintenance works inexpensive, by casting a ferrous pipe material together at the time of founding an aluminum alloy-make, head-solid type cylinder block and then pressing a ferrous liner in an inner surface of this pipe material via a heat resisting bonding agent. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacture, first a pipe material 2 of steel or the like annealed, having a nickel plating layer, is attached to a mold 3 for cylinder block 1. At this time, a preheating chamber 1b is installed at the opposite side to a mold chamber 1a, namely, along an inner circumference of the pipe material 2, and preheated deposite molten metal 8 is poured from a preheating gate 3b, then the pipe material 2 is preheated from the inside. Next, chill metal molten bath to form the cylinder block 1 is poured from a main gate 3a, making it go up to a position of a head 6. Successively, after an inner surface of the pipe material 2 is finished, a ferrous liner 12 being finished both inner and outer surfaces is pressed in the inner surface of the pipe material 2 via a heat resisting bonding agent. |
