PURPOSE:To improve workability and to prevent optical connector plugs from being loosened after being connected by interposing a plastic spacer or leaf spring between a housing and a sleeve holder or between sleeve holders. CONSTITUTION:An array sleeve 3 is fitted in a couple of sleeve holders 2A and 2B in the same shape which are fitted in housings 1A and 1B respectively. The leaf spring 9 and plastic spacer 10 are inserted into the gap 7A formed between the sleeve holders 2A and 2B. The sleeve holders 2A and 2B are pressed against internal walls of the housings 1A and 1B all the time, so the pressing forces operate on optical connector plugs connected outside the housings 1A and 1B at any time. Consequently, lock nuts screwed in the plugs and housings 1A and 1B are prevented from being loosened.
