Vehicle jack with a rotatably mounted threaded spindle and a drive crank which carries at its one free end a handle rotatably mounted on it and is attached with its other end, angled by about 90 DEG , to a threaded spindle in such a way as to be pivotable about an axis running transversely to the spindle and is angled a further time between pivot axis and handle close to the latter. To be able to change the diameter and the position of the crank circle described by the handle during cranking and to nonetheless be able to take hold of the handle comfortably and firmly, the drive crank is angled close to the handle by an angle of only about 60 DEG and the handle is attached to the drive crank with a type of ball-and-socket joint in such a way as to be universally tiltable.
