<p>The hoops for rolls used in continuous aluminum casting are characterized in that they are configured like cylindrical forged envelopes which have been subjected to a heat treatment and machined and made with alloyed steel having the following composition in percentage by weight: C : 0.30-0.36; Mn : 0.30-0.60; SI : 0.15-0.45; Ni less than 0.40; Cr : 2.80-3.40; Mo : 0.85-1.25; V : 0.10-0.30; S <= 0.020; P <= 0.020; Cu <= 0.30; the remainder being substantially iron and residual impurities.</p> |
