<p>PURPOSE:To improve the manufacturing efficiency and the performance of a cell by causing the electrolyte body formed to a tape-like shape to pass through a slit for applying electrode paste to integrate the electrolyte body with the electrode. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte body tape 1 consisting mainly of carbonate, carbonate holding aggregate powder and binder is introduced into a pot 3 in which electrode paste 2 is contained, and the paste 2 is applied to both sides of the tape 1. Next, the electrode thickness in both sides of the tape 1 is uniformly formed by causing it to pass through a slit 4 which is set to fixed gap. Next, the tape and the paste which are integrated are dried by a dryer 5, and the taper which comes out from the dryer 5 is cut to given length by means of a cutter 6. Whereby, it is possible to efficiently manufacture a homogeneous cell with higher reliability in the contact performance between the electrolyte body and the electrode.</p> |
