PURPOSE:To improve the discharging and the reservation life by partially forming the impermeable layer of an electrolytic solution consisting of synthetic resin and the like in the surface of the electrolytic solution side in an air electrode consisting of an active carbon and a metal oxide and the like. CONSTITUTION:An air electrode 8 is made to a film by mixing acethylene black as an active carbon and a conductive material and polyethylene tetrafluoride as a bonding agent together with water, and it is put on one surface of a screen 11 to which a metal plating is applied, and the impermeable layer 12 of an electrolytic solution is partially formed in the surface opposing to a negative electrode. The coating rate due to the impermeable layer 12 of the electrolytic solution is set under 90% of a reacting surface. And also since the aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide is usually used as an electrolytic solution, alkali-proof resin of polyamide amine series or polyethylene series is used in the impermeable layer 12 of the electrolytic solution. Whereby, it is possible to improve the reservation performance of a battery. |
