The invention relates to a floating-calliper spot-type disc brake with a brake anchor plate (3), a brake housing (1) which is mounted in axially displaceable fashion on the brake anchor plate (3) by means of a pin-type guide and encloses the rim of a brake disc (2), with an actuating device which is arranged in one arm of the brake housing and acts directly on a first brake lining (6) arranged on one side of the brake disc (2) and indirectly, via the brake housing (1), on a second brake lining (5) arranged on the other side of the brake disc, furthermore with a device (12) for the active release of the indirectly actuated lining (5) and with an elastic element (11) which is arranged between the pin (4) of the pin-type guide and a guiding portion (15) of the housing. In order to provide a device (12) for active release which is of simple construction and is easy to install, it is envisaged that the device (12) for active release be connectable to the brake housing by means of a snap-in connection. <IMAGE>
