PURPOSE:To reduce the using ratio of a bus by restricting the transmission of a data in a memory request having a section that all bits of a writing data are the same in a continuous memory request based on a run length information. CONSTITUTION:In a picture image processor 21, a black and white binary encoded picture image data is to be an object for a processing and the code of the picture image is decoded. Further, the picture image processor 21 outputs a memory request for writing in a dot memory 23 capable of storing the picture image data corresponding one picture element with 1 bit. A picture image control section 34 carries out the enlarging processing of a picture image data transmitted to the dot memory 23 from a run length information obtained by said decoding processing and the decoding processing of the picture image data. The picture image control section 34 stores a writing picture image data in a writing register 25, and a writing address in a writing address register 24. A memory control unit 22 decodes the memory request fed from the picture image processor 21 and writes the picture image data to the dot memory 23.
