The application relates to a cyclone precipitator whose precipitation space is constructed between the inner wall of the cyclone and the immersion tube (6) in a diffuser-like manner, i.e. gradually widening, and a part which continuously tapers towards the particle outlet (2) adjoins the latter part, preferably with the intermediate connection of a cylindrical intermediate element, and has variously shaped forms of immersion tube (6). <IMAGE>
