PURPOSE:To always execute the full opening of a shutter, when inserting a cartridge, by making it operable in only the front side of a cartridge case, and always opening the shutter when the cartridge passes through a head, when inserting the cartridge. CONSTITUTION:When a disk cartridge is inserted into a disk driving device along a guide member 83, an operating part 77 is detained at the time point when the operating part 77 of a lever 70 has been engaged with a detaining part 84, and in accordance with a pushing force, the lever 70 moves in the direction as indicated with an arrow B against a force of a spring 79, a slider 64 slides in the direction as indicated with an arrow C, and a shutter 60 slides in the direction as indicated with an arrow D as one body with said slider. Accordingly, immediately after the cartridge has been inserted into the cartridge inserting port, the operating part 77 is detained to the detaining part 84, and since an elastic force of the spring 79 is weak, when the pushing force is applied, first the operating part 77 moves along a projection 76 and a side wall 75 of the lower case 50, and the shutter 60 is opened completely. In this way, in a state that the shutter has been fully opened, the disk cartridge can pass through the head.
