PURPOSE:To obtain high density and uniform magnetic field by providing a magnetic circuit in which an electron magnet of exciting coil shaped so as to surround a grinding liquid vessel and a double column are made yoke. CONSTITUTION:A base 4, magnetic disc 5 and a grinding liquid vessel 6 are integrally rotated by a rotary driving motor. A work holder 12 is relatively rotated to the direction reverse to the rotating direction of the base 4 through a rotary main shaft 11 by a motor 17 for work holder rotation, and a work W mounted on the work holder 12 is positioned in the grinding liquid vessel 6 by falling movement of a ram 10. An exciting coil 22 is wound by a conductor in the circumferential direction a predetermined number of times, and magnetic flux in the direction intersecting with the surface of the grinding liquid in the vessel 6 is applied all over the graiding liquid vessel 6. The magnetic disc 5 is used to unifying the magnetic flux distribution, and composed of a magnet drilled by plural through holes. |
