PURPOSE:To prevent defective reproduction such as groove skipping by using a shock absorbing member between joint of the body of a reproducing device and outer covering frame. CONSTITUTION:The main body of the reproducing device 1 consists of a outer covering frame 2, a rotating device 3, a chassis 4 and legs 5, and a shock absorbing rubber member 6 is provided between the body 1 and outer covering frame 2. In the recording disk reproducing device, the outer covering frame 2 is fitted through the shock absorbing rubber member 6, and accordingly, even when shock is given by touching of a hand etc., the shock is relieved. Further, the shock to the body 1 is reduced through screws for joining as well. Thus, large shock applied to the body can be prevented, and groove skipping at the time of reproducing can be prevented.
