PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of operator's transmission operation in the transmission side by taking out destination information from a table designated with an identification code in a repeating station and transmitting destination information and picture information to a device designated with destination information. CONSTITUTION:A repeating station 2 is provided with tables 14, 15, and 16. Destination information of all of receiving stations A-Z are stored in the table 14, and destination information of odd receiving stations A, C-Y are stored in the table 15, and destination information of even receiving stations B, D-Z are stored in the table 16. A discriminating part 17 takes out destination information (a) from the table 15 to find the receiving station A, to which a repeated text should be transmitted, and transmits picture information G' in a picture memory 13 to the receiving station A. Similarly, picture information G' is transmitted to the receiving station C in accordance with destination information (c). Hereafter, information are transmitted to the other receiving stations similarly.
